Sifu Alan has devoted a lifetime to the arts, spending more than 45 years studying with some of the finest instructors in the world. That path taught a simple truth: honor your mentors and your lineage. Respect for teachers is not a formality; it is a core principle of martial arts and the warrior code. This academy’s mission is first to pay respect and honor to our teachers both in word and in deed. Secondly, this academy is meant to pass on the wisdom and knowledge shared with us. Third, Legacy Academy exists to build a community, not just a video library. We are creating a training culture where motivated people support each other. Our code is simple: respect, effort, humility, and service. No drama, no ego. We honor our teachers by how we treat each other and by how we train together, as we pass along the arts they taught us.
