Private Training & Seminars
Live Inperson Training That Will Take Your Skillset To The Next Level
The Legacy Academy team offers private training in person or via Zoom. Work with us at our facility in Woodstock, GA, connect during a U.S. teaching tour, or bring us to your location for a seminar or camp. In-person or live online coaching lets us assess you in real time, refine your mechanics, and tailor the curriculum to your goals and environment.

The Limit of Video-Only Training
Video is excellent for learning steps and concepts, but it cannot teach feel. Without proximity and touch, you cannot develop the sensitivity, timing, pressure, and body awareness that create real skill. Attributes like connection, balance transfer, structural feedback, and live adjustment only emerge through hands-on coaching. That depth does not happen on a screen.
The Hidden Gap in Your Training

“I’ve been studying the videos, but I can’t quite feel what’s happening in the movement.”

“I understand the technique, but I’m not sure if my pressure, timing, or alignment are right.”

“I wish someone could watch me in real time and help me make those small adjustments that change everything.”

“I know I’m missing something that only comes from training with an experienced instructor who can actually touch, move, and correct me.”
If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone. Many dedicated practitioners reach a point where they realize that real progress requires contact, feedback, and correction from someone who truly understands the art. That’s exactly what in-person private lessons and seminars are designed to provide.
Why This Matters
Martial arts were never meant to be learned in isolation. The heart of the arts has always been transmission, one person guiding another through touch, timing, and feel. In-person training keeps that tradition alive. It ensures that what we pass on isn’t just information but true understanding.
This is honestly one of the reasons I added private lessons and seminars to the Legacy Academy. I could have just built a video archive and left it at that, but after more than four decades in the arts, I know one thing for sure: you have to get in the room, and you have to get your hands on a real mentor.
Private lessons and seminars preserve that direct connection between teacher and student, the way the arts were meant to be shared.
